Carlos Bertão is a professional bassoonist specialising in historical instruments, symphonic music and opera, based in Geneva, Switzerland. A laureate of the 2023 cultural grant from the prestigious Leenaards Foundation, he is conducting research into the baroque repertoire. With over 10 years' experience, Carlos has performed with various orchestras and theatres in Switzerland and abroad, and has worked with leading international conductors and soloists.
